The suspect accused of fleeing after attempting to rob a gas station has been taken into custody.
On Wednesday afternoon, Nicholasville Police reported Andrew Snell was taken into custody without incident.
According to the Nicholasville Police Department, on Wednesday morning, a man tried to rob the gas station on Edgewood Drive with a knife but left empty-handed.
Police say that afterward, the man made threatening statements while speaking to a family member, who then contacted authorities.
Officers located the suspect’s vehicle and attempted a traffic stop near Tates Creek Road and Ashgrove Road, on the Fayette-Jessamine County line.
