Heart Offering Reward for Return of Stolen Instruments

SHARE NOW

Rock band Heart have announced a reward for information leading to the return of a couple of their “irreplaceable” instruments that were stolen from a venue last Saturday (May 31).

The instruments were reportedly stolen from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casion in Atlantic City, where the band was set to kick off the “An Evening with Heart” tour. The rockers had set up the instruments – a custom-built, purple sparkle baritone Telecaster guitar made for Nancy Wilson, and a vintage 1966 Gibson EM-50 mandolin that band member Paul Moak has played for over 25 years.

“These instruments are more than just tools of our trade — they’re extensions of our musical souls,” Nancy Wilson said in a statement. “We’re heartbroken, and we’re asking for their safe return— no questions asked. Their value to us is immeasurable.”

“Members of the legendary rock band Heart were devastated to discover that two irreplaceable instruments were stolen from the venue, where gear had been set up the day prior to the show,” according to a release dated June 3rd.

The band is offering an unspecified reward for the return of both instruments, which are pictured in a Facebook post. The band wants the leads to be directed to Heart’s tour manager Tony Moon at [email protected].
