Duran Duran Working with Nile Rodgers on New Music

SHARE NOW

Duran Duran are officially back in the studio working on new music with one of their most legendary collaborators, Nile Rodgers.

The iconic U.K. band teased new material via Instagram, sharing a snapshot from Abbey Road Studios with the caption, “Working with our good friend Nile at Abbey Road Studios this weekend. Stay tuned…”

Rodgers also shared the moment on his social media, writing, “We had as much fun working yesterday as ever!”

The reunion marks the first time Rodgers and Duran Duran have worked together in nearly a decade following their last collaboration on 2015’s Paper Gods, which featured “Pressure Off” with Janelle Monáe.

Rodgers first worked with Duran Duran on the remix of “The Reflex.” He then produced “The Wild Boys,” the studio song from the 1984 live album Arena. In 1986, Rodgers produced Duran Duran’s fourth studio album Notorious.
