Sometime in the 5:00am hour Saturday the 16th on Highway 25E in front of Crater City car lot – a short distance from Casey’s – a Bell County ambulance left the roadway and flipped on its top.
During the incident, several vehicles at the car lot were impacted.
We understand that the driver of the vehicle was able to exit without injury, thanks to the assistance of a good Samaritan.
Responding to the scene were the Bell County Sheriff’s Department, Bell County Volunteer Fire Department, Kentucky State Police, and Middlesboro Fire/EMS.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
