Businesses across Northern Kentucky are honoring veterans and active-duty military personnel this Veterans Day with a variety of free meals, discounts and special offers.

The following list highlights restaurants and retailers in Kenton, Campbell and Boone counties participating in this year’s observances. The list was published on the official website of the American Legion, a veterans advocacy organization.

Veterans Day deals: Restaurants

Applebee’s – Free full-size entrée from a special menu for veterans and active-duty military.
Biggby Coffee – Offering veterans any 16-ounce beverage for just $1.99 on Nov. 11.
Bob Evans – Free meal from a select menu for veterans and active-duty military.
Bonefish Grill – 10% off for service members year-round.
Buffalo Wild Wings – Free order of 10 boneless wings and fries for veterans and active-duty military.
Carrabba’s Italian Grill – Free dine-in appetizer or dessert and non-alcoholic beverage with entrée purchase for service members.
Chick-fil-A – Select locations offering a free entrée or sandwich (Florence & Fort Wright locations typically participate).
Chipotle – ‘Buy one, get one free’ entrée for military members with valid ID.
Cracker Barrel – Free slice of Double Fudge Coca-Cola Cake with entrée purchase.
Denny’s – Free Grand Slam breakfast for veterans and active military on Nov. 11.
Dunkin’ – Free donut, no purchase necessary, to veterans and active-duty military.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers – Free Freddy’s Original Double with Cheese combo meal card.
Gold Star Chili – Free meal up to $12 for veterans and active-duty military.
Hooters – Free entrée from a special Veterans Day menu.
IHOP – Free Red, White & Blueberry pancakes.
Joella’s Hot Chicken – Offering a complimentary meal of two Jumbo Tenders, a Southern side, one dipping sauce, and a drink.
Little Caesars – Free Lunch Combo (four slices of pizza and a 20-oz drink) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Logan’s Roadhouse – Free entrée from special Veterans Day menu, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
LongHorn Steakhouse – Free appetizer or dessert for veterans and active-duty military.
McDonald’s – Select local franchises offer free breakfast sandwiches or meals for veterans.
Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt – Offering a free 6 oz. frozen yogurt on Nov. 11.
O’Charley’s – Offering veterans a free entrée from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Nov. 10 and Nov. 11, in addition to a $5 reward card for a future visit
Olive Garden – Free entrée from a special menu; dine-in only.
Outback Steakhouse – Free Bloomin’ Onion and Coke product for veterans and active-duty military.
Red Lobster – Free meal voucher for veterans and active-duty military.
Red Robin – Free Red’s Big Tavern Burger with bottomless fries for veterans and active-duty military.
Starbucks – Free tall hot or iced coffee for veterans, military service members, and spouses.
Texas Roadhouse – Meal vouchers distributed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for free entrée redemption later.
White Castle – Free combo meal or breakfast combo for veterans and military members.
Wendy’s – Free breakfast combo or sandwich during breakfast hours for veterans and active-duty military.
Wings and Rings – offering a free dine-in lunch combo available on Nov. 11.

Great Clips – Free haircut for veterans or a free haircut card to give to a veteran.
Publix – Veterans and active military personnel receive a discount of 10% on groceries
Sleep Number – Extra 10% off military discount on mattresses and bases.
Sports Clips – Offering free haircuts for veterans and active duty servicemembers on Nov. 11.
Spotless Brands Car Washes – Offering veterans a complimentary car wash to veterans on Nov. 11.
Tractor Supply Co. – Veterans will receive a 10% discount on Nov. 11.
Walgreens – 20% off eligible regular-price items for veterans and military Nov. 8–11.
WhiteWater Express Car Wash – Veterans with a valid ID receive a free premium car on Nov. 11.
