A vehicle pursuit involving the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office took place in the Lone Oak area around 8 p.m. on Friday, November 7. The sheriff’s office said the suspect fired multiple rounds at deputies during the chase.
Authorities also said the suspect’s vehicle crashed into a house in the 200 block of Lone Oak Road, ending the pursuit. The suspect was then taken to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead.
No one inside the house was reported with any injuries, and deputies were unharmed during the incident.
The sheriff’s office expressed gratitude to the Paducah Police Department for their assistance at the scene and in handling other calls during the event.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office requested an investigation from the Kentucky State Police.
