Two people have been left with life-threatening injuries following an afternoon collision involving a garbage truck and passenger vehicle on Leestown Road.
According to Lexington Police, the collision happened just after 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Police report that the driver and passenger of the vehicle were injured.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
