We regret to announce the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant Brian Hatt of the Raywick (Kentucky) Fire Department. (Raywick is approximately 45 miles south of Louisville in Marion County.)
Lieutenant Hatt sustained critical injuries in a single-vehicle apparatus rollover Friday afternoon while responding to a tractor-trailer fire. He passed away Monday afternoon.
Lieutenant Hatt was 51 years old and had served with the Raywick Fire Department for 12 years. He is survived by his wife, Tonya, three children, and two grandchildren. He retired from the U.S. Army.
