Jack O’Lantern Spectacular returns for its 13th Season in Louisville

SHARE NOW

A Louisville Halloween tradition returns this year for its 13th season.

The Parks Alliance of Louisville announced Aug. 1 the return of the Jack O’Lantern Spectacular, one of the city’s most beloved fall traditions and the Alliance’s largest annual fundraiser.

The 2025 season will run nightly from Oct. 2 through Nov. 2 in Iroquois Park, featuring a brand-new theme: Jack’s Pun-King Trail — A Trail of Wordplay.

This year’s trail promises thousands of hand-carved pumpkins, clever one-liners and gourd-inspired puns — a true celebration of humor, creativity and community.

The event draws tens of thousands of visitors each year. Proceeds support the Parks Alliance’s mission to drive equitable investment in Louisville’s public parks and improve the health and well-being of the entire community.

Tickets go on sale to the public beginning Sept. 1 at www.jackolanternlouisville.org.

The Parks Alliance drives equitable investment in Louisville’s public parks, supporting over 100 green spaces, many in underserved neighborhoods. Learn more at parksalliancelou.org.
